Finally a win for the good guys as Fringe is renewed.

I'm glad. I really would have hated for them to try and wrap up the series so soon.

Nothing but good news there. Fox should totally have an FX Networks marathon of Fringe over the summer to try and lure in new viewers. I really think the 12 month tv season hurt shows like this, it isn't like they're going to suddenly have a spike of a million new viewers who just happen to want to check the show out.

A quick note to JJ Abrams haters: Do you realize that in a world where guys like Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon, Jim Cameron, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson, and their ilk are considered fanboy legends JJ Abrams is affiliated with more geeky content than all of them and that it actually gets made? And is consistently good? I think people have no idea how good this man and his projects are for the business and for our own well-being.

I'm glad Fringe is renewed but JJ gets credit for stuff he isn't part of.  He directed and started Lost but had no part in any of it afterwards.  I'm fairly sure it's the same for Fringe as I've seen or heard none about him in the blu ray extras or in print.

Alias sucked after SD6 was destroyed.  MI3 was bad.  Cloverfield-meh. Sure he has Star Trek but let's get real.  JJ gets the credit for the work of others.  The people you mention actually do their work and don't pass it off to others and take an Executive Produce credit.
