No slight against AMC. As you said they have probably the two bests shows on tv, and I have nothing but genuine love for Rubicon. No doubt AMC has been golden so far.
I was refering to the remake of The Killing, The Prisoner and The Walking Dead. I think the Walking Dead show and comic are both terrible. And the show is probably terrible largely because of the comic.
But, you're right. Overall, AMC is definitely not unoriginal. But it would've been nice if they were MORE original and didn't remake a Danish show and adapt a comic book series. For me this is not original.
I'd already read the first 40 or so issue of Walking Dead ages ago, and I plan on catching the original Kiiling. So its disappointing that these two AMC shows hold far less value for individuals whom have experience with the original properties. I'd rather experience something brand new.
This remake adapting strategy just seems something a little lazy to me. Something I find a little surprising from AMC.
