WONDER WOMAN FIXES WARDROBE MALFUNCTION… SOMEWHAT

Less, shiny, red boots back.

It's better. The breastplate still looks plasticky, the tiara still looks like shit, and I still don't dig that she has pants, but that's fine, they look better. Now, the only thing left to do is fire David E. Kelley and rewrite the scripts w/ at least a modicum of respect for the character or cancel the show before the pilot airs. Either one would work for me.

Still just awful. Looks like she's wearing Underoos.

I don't understand why they didn't go with something like the recent costumer reboot. It's far more practical and just a lot less silly looking.

Really? I respect your opinion and all that, but I (and most everyone else) hate that costume. Jim Lee can't design for shit and judging by the absurd jacket he gave her, he's still living in 1993. Also, the TV show did lift one element from that design if you don't count the pants; the tiara is the same.

MichaelM, I am glad they didn't go with the...Jim Lee design.  While the costume in the pilot is not quite perfect, it is better than giving Wonder Woman, blah black pants and a jacket.  I prefer Diana to be sporting her...Traditional classic costume myself.

No harm, no foul. I know I was in the minority of those who liked it.

And you're completely right, JJ - the costume doesn't matter at all when you consider the horrible, horrible script they're using.

Yup, I think they hit it on the head with that change to the pants:

Better but still bad. The link to the "battle costume" in the article would be perfect.

It does look a lot better, just have to wait and see how the show plays out now.

Less plasticky is a good start.

I don't see this show lasting a full season, anyway.

So they replaced the vinyl with spandex. Ugh, I don't want to believe one can predict how crappy a TV show will be based on the wardrobe, but given the lousy buzz on the pilot script and this terrible costume design, I predict doom for this series. DOOM, I SAY!

LULZ I thought the same thing.

Boneheaded from the word GO, this project is. I shake my head at the casting, script, and costume. Cripes, this looks like a BOMB.
