Submarine movies!

I recently discovered that I have a deep place in my heart for Navy movies but this is my favorite sub-genre (no pun intended). Glad to have more films to add to my list.

Submarine movies are great. That's part of what made WRATH OF KHAN so great too, as Nicholas Meyer wanted to get away from the post-STAR WARS aerial dogfight style of space battle and make an outer space submarine flick.

I love a nice submarine story too. For me the terror of them isn't so much being waaaay deep in the ocean, it's being crammed into the thing with far too many other people. I need my space man!

Having been inside several submarines, I always marvel at how insanely cramped they are. Even more cramped than they seem in films; which is pretty damn cramped. Particularly the older subs.
