Also a lifetime favorite, though tied to my high school years. Article would have been aided by some kind of legally permissible audio/visual embeds for the youngsters. The dark paranoid mournfulness of Fear of Music, and that sort of waking up to a more global sound in Remain In Light are the pinnacle for me, even though I loved their contribution to Wim Wenders' "Until The End of the World" soundtrack, and wherever the hell they pulled "Lifetime Piling Up" from.

Never got to see them live, but there was a 1989 tour with Debbie Harry, The Ramones, The Tom Tom Club and Casual Gods gave us a 3/4 reunion that was fun.

You're after my heart with this one Damon. Talking Heads are one of my top favorite bands. For me Fear of Music is their best album, but This Must Be The Place is probably my favorite song of theirs. Amazing band, and Brian Eno should produce every album ever. Oh yeah, Stop Making Sense is amazing too. Can't do anything but gush when talking about Talking Heads.
