WILLIAM & THEODORE’S TRIUMPHANT TRILOGY?

That's Bill & Ted to their friends.

You know, you would think that Live Free or Die Hard or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull would have taught me a lesson, but damn it I want to see a Bill and Ted 3. Both Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey still hold up really well, despite being so dated they're still charming and funny.

Let's hope these guys can put together something good.

I also know that Keanu's been doing a spectacular job of choosing his projects wisely for the last decade. He wouldn't jump into this unless there was an awesome angle. And there's so many right ways for them to pull off a middle-aged Bill and Ted.

So, yeah, I'm kinda psyched about this.

Bob Gengis Khan and Maxine of Arc approve.

Keanu has been talking about this movie forever it seems, it's like he's the Dan Ackroyd of the Bill and Ted franchise.

Incidentally I just watched BOGUS JOURNEY over the weekend and still love it. Here's hoping that if they do make a new one it will be as good-natured and fun as the first two.

This is the first sequel touted in a long time I can honestly say I'd be really excited to see happen.

(Am I the only one who misread this as something to do with The Chipmunks?)

I actually think this is a great idea.  The zeitgeist is right for this kind of humour.

Surprising, considering Alex Winter would be the more natural pick to fill that role.

Now, who do we have to kill to make this movie happen? With William Sadler back as Death, of course.

I was just coming to say this. Love both movies there will have to be a lot of awesome to make up for the lack of Rufus, which Death would help with.

You NEED Death in there. He's the third Wyld Stallyn.

I have a hard time seeing a studio throwing any money at this. Hasn't time passed this project?

unless they set it during his failed solo career.  (NERD ALERT)

...and lets not forget Station and his awesome Martian butt.

I love Bill & Ted but the newspaper montage at the end of Bogus Journey pretty much brought everything to a full circle, I'm not sure I need any more. But I'm glad the original writers are the ones tackling it and not some random hacks.

don't overlook Death's butt. He works out all the time and Reaping burns a lot of calories.

Yes, please. If its terrible we can all pretend it never happened.

Here's hoping that they don't introduce a "son of Rufus" character. I don't need any Seth Rogan/Jonah Hill in my Bill & Ted, and you all know that's who they'd cast.

Denis Leary would seem like the natural progressor to Rufus. Edgar Friendly hops movie universes?

I'm getting increasingly sick of the remake/adaptation phase Hollywood is going through but this is one project I would definitely get on board for.  Bogus Journey is just too well done of what could have been a shitty cash in sequel to not want to see Keanu and Winters playing those characters again.

I like the idea in theory, but kinda want AW to do a sequel to FREAKED instead.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if one led to the other.
