The Crow is almost as bad as Highlander they just won't let it die. Reboot it in 10 years.

Proyas and Lee carried that film and everything since has been an utter waste.

The producers of those Crow sequels and that stupid tv show should just kill themselves and do everyone a favor.

My memories of the first movie mostly centre around spending the most part of the 90s hearing people go on and on about it like it was the greatest thing to ever be committed to celluloid. Personally, it just came across to me like Paul Kersey gatecrashing a Sisters of Mercy gig.

In fact, I say if they want a director for this thing they should take the whole 'Death Wish For Goths' thing head on and get Michael Winner on the case.

There were some rumors it was Mark Wahlberg, but he denied being involved. Wouldn't be that surprising.

Well if they've tossed Cave's script, there goes my one point of interest in this movie.

The first flick generated as many Halloween costumes as Ledger's Joker I think. I liked it well enough in college... the graphic novel flavor, the soundtrack and score, Lee's charisma, the Wincott. Proyas deserves a more prolific career methinks. Each of the successive sequels (I think CITY's ok) remakes the story somewhat anyhow. I'm indifferent to this. Doesn't the Hot Topic crowd have enough to chew on with all the Tim Burton and Twilight-y properties?

Second that. You guys need to see Wicked Prayer. While the flicks and series are okay at best, Wicked Prayer is a hoot. It's so bad, it's really funny.
