Nine Types Of Light - TV On The Radio

Good. Great in places. Upon first listen, way more poppy than their other stuff, almost punky at points (Gang Of Four-ish? Anyone?), definitely a more conventional rock album after Dear Science (their best, I would say). "Repetition" stuck in my head, will remain for weeks.

 

I would say it's their weakest. Which is to say, probably one of the year's stronger albums. Curious to hear what anyone else thinks.

Some tough reviews, but I genuinely really love it.  I need to listen to it a few more times, but I'd put it right up there with Dear Science.

I've only given it one good listen but it gets stronger throughout the album.
