Why was this canceled?!

Wow, surprised to see you rank it so high in the franchise(a term I kind of hate, but what can you do?). Good capper to another fine series of reviews. Loving these.

I'm frankly surprised by how much I liked the TV series. Maybe it was just my rock bottom expectations.

Good job now on to Puppet Master 1-10 !!!!

I'm hoping for the Death Wish movies for the next series of articles, just because "Your Bronson is showing" is one of the best captions ever.

Great stuff. Havent watched the series so i might have to check it out.

Police Acadamy would be good exersize in how bad sequals can get.

Police Academy gets my vote. I just feel that three horror franchises in a row might be too much.

Anyone who is planning to check out the TV series should definitely watch TREMORS 3 first (probably even TREMORS 2 if ya got the time). TREMORS 3 is effectively the pilot.

I've been a fan of Tremors since I saw the NBC premiere back in 1992. Didn't get to see the second one until several years later, but I still liked it quite a bit, and rented the 3rd one when it came out on video, and when I found out it was being turned into a tv series I was really happy about that. I still have the tapes I made of it off of The Sci-Fi channel. They're around here, somewhere. It's a damn shame that it didn't succeed. It really should have.

I think the episodes that don't feature Burt are because Michael Gross was filming Tremors 4 at the same time as a few of the episodes.

I really hope that rumor of a Tremors: Thunder From Down Under movie comes true.

I heard Paul Hogan was supposed to star in Tremors: Down Under.

The TV Series was overshadowed at the time by news that Farscape was being cancelled. The SyFy Channel people received a lot of flak because of that,

From what I understand, the fifth film fell apart and has been abandoned. Michael Gross, Paul Hogan, and Fred Ward were all supposedly on board..................with Kevin Bacon a cameo possibility, as his career wasn't too hot a few years ago.  So you would have had Earl back for the whole film and at the very least a Val cameo.  Shame it didn't come together.  It also looks like the new monster project that Underwood, Wilson, and Braddock were going to do (Night Crew) has been abandoned as well.  Probably couldn't secure financing.  I hope they can either get Night Crew or something similar off the ground at some point though.  That trio is too awesome to not make something else together.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Universal tries to remake the original in a few years.

Alright folks, I’m calling it. Team CRITTERS pulled it off this time. But Team DEATH WISH ran a great race, so here’s what I’m gonna do. There will be no voting next time. I’ll do CRITTERS. Then go right into DEATH WISH. Then we’ll have another election after that.

I've really enjoyed this series.  Very cool, man.  Very cool.  Thanks for keeping it up and putting 'em out.

Hell yes!!!

I finally saw all the Critters movies via that Warner 4 film set that's out when I picked it up in February. They are some pretty fun cheese. I voted for Death Wish, so I'm looking even more forward to that.

I seriously hope this column makes it to Police Academy, that's all I'm sayin'. May the force be with you, Joshua.

This would be awesome if he played Mick Dundee in the film.....

...and then got eaten by a Graboid.

I wish a graboid would take out the current bunch of execs at the "SyFy" Channel that have turned it into the wreck it is today.
