Enjoyed the COBRA dissection, and I can't get enough obsessive observations about the robot photo-shoot.

 

It's a film I've warmed to in recent years. Nieslen is atrocious but those are the breaks.

 

Really is messed up about the random businessman in the parking garage.

One thing that ended up on the cutting room floor was Cobra's entrancement by the tattoo selection at the parlor they visit during the "Angel of the City" montage, which is basically the action equivalent of Cameron at the art museum in Ferris Bueller.

I can't believe they actually put a sign for King Cobra malt liquor in there. Also, somewhere in my bedroom at home, I have a plush cheeseburger pillow that I got at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant at the Universal CityWalk in Orlando that looks just like the one Sly's holding here.
