Parker has no honor. He's a total sociopath. Ugh, they're going to ruin this. Point Blank really was the ultimate rendition of Parker.

Well on the bright side, this is the first filmmaker worth a damn that Statham's worked for in a long time. He needs to lose more than a few phone numbers, that Statham.

I'd have said "good," rather than "great," but either way, the problem is that it's not really "recent": depending on how you view things like animated voice work, and films still to be relased, The Bank Job was at least a half-dozen films ago for Statham, maybe more, which can be an awfully long time in Hollywood terms.  I've enjoyed the Transporter and Crank films to varying degrees, and we don't have enough good action heroes as it is, but I really would love to see something resembling his early work for Guy Ritchie again.
