I was looking to switch gears from my RPG norm so I picked this up yesterday. This is the first Tiger Woods game that I've ever played, in fact this is the first golf game I have played since Mario Golf way back in the day. You start off as a novice golfer with the goal to eventually play and win the Masters Tourney. You can build up your attributes (power, accuracy, touch, putting, etc.) by doing well in lesser tourneys. This may be exactly like previous Tiger Woods games, but like I said, its all new to me.
The game itself is gorgeous and difficult. Putting especially is giving me fits. I'm getting better with practice, but its not uncommon for me to get to a Par 5 green in 2 shots only to come away with a bogey because I 4-putted. I havent delved into any online challenges yet but I would imagine it would be pretty cool to get some folks together for an online tourney. Anybody else playing this?
