Yeah, bottom 3 Bond film for sure.

You forgot to mention the shittyness of an aged Roger Moore snowboarding to "California Girls." Clearly one of the worst parts of the movie.

As was mentioned in the Bond thread over on Franchises, debuting Dalton here insted of in "The Living Daylights" might have helped deflect some of the shittyness.

Paul755, Roger wanted to be, James, one...MOORE, time, so he could act in his...007TH Bond film! A View To A Kill is awful, but...Still better than, From Russia With Love, Goldeneye, and the other 2 Brosnan films not named...Tomorrow Never Dies!  Tanya Roberts was far better in...The Beastmaster than in, AVTAK, as well!

Better than From Russia? No. Better than Moonraker? Not by much.

Tony The V, I put Moonraker in my...Top 5, of Bond Films.

This movie has always been one of my fave Bond films. There's just something about it that I love that I cant put my finger on. Perhaps its just how awful it can be at times.

Silly fun is all it is. As terriblly aged as Moore was for this film, I'd still prefer him over Brosnon who, at no time in his run appears remotely comfortable in the Bond role.

This movie came close to making me hate Bond. I never gave Dalton much of a chance purely on the residual hate I held for this. So shitty, I'd rather watch Johnny English if I was given the choice.

Awful. Moore should have stopped after FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. Although it's weird that everybody - including me - accepts Stallone in THE EXPENDABLES, even though he was 62 when he made it, 5 years older than Moore in VIEW. I suppose he looks a lot younger than Moore at that age.

Stelios, give DAYLIGHTS another chance. It's a top 5 Bond movie. Even John Glen seems revitalised.

Beautiful, lush Barry score - the song is a good'un as well.

While objectively the movie sucks, I have a lot of fondness for it. It's fun to watch Roger have so much fun (and get a smokin' lady like Tanya Roberts), and I appreciate the roles for Pat Macnee and David "I Go First Indy" Yip. And of course, Walken.

And, one more thing:
