Havent really heard that hes a dick, but wouldnt be surprised if hes a cocky bastard. Not saying the guy doesnt deserve to be, hell hes a Super Bowl MVP, but I would assume some people would his attitude the wrong way.

JP Losman is garbage, more so than Boller. I truly feel sorry for you Fleed. But strep throat? really?! Sage Rosenfels, sign your retirement papers, you dont deserve to put on another jersey for that load of garbage.

The only QB that's gone down against us this season was Michael Vick, and that was a freak play.  When Harvey Dahl was our starting right guard, he had a reputation of being quite nasty and playing way through the whistle, but I don't think he was ever known as an extremely dirty player.

Damn, can things get any worse for the Dolphins?  They might as well embrace the "Suck For Luck" campaign 100% now.  lol

i was thinking about this today, havent had a change to confirm this, but in the history of the modern NFL draft, only one school has had a quarterback selected NUMBER ONE OVERALL more than once.

Jim Plunkett in 1971, John Elway in 1983 and barring some freak accident, Andrew Luck in 2012. Stanford University aka Quarterback U

Considering those are both Super Bowl winning quarterbacks (and Plunkett is the only retired QB with two wins that is not in the HOF...absolute disgrace) I'd have to say Andrew Luck has "luck" on his side

Regarding Rodgers, I'd very very wary of the whole "He's a dick thing" from hometown types.  It can get a little crazy how people like that, who achieve a degree of fame, are treated when they visit home and how the people there feel they are owed something.  And if the guy doesn't stop what he's doing and talk with each and every one of the hundreds of people who believe they are now old friends, he's a dick.

I've seen it many times with guys who achieve moderate success at the collegiate level, it's got to be over the top insane for the pros.

"Hey, my brother went to the same high school as you!  Can you help me out with my car payment this month?"

In the modern era, at least. Neat little point of fact - Miami has had TWO QBs picked first overall in the SUPPLEMENTAL draft. 

MoonBaseNick, Not just the...Coaching Staff.  Jeff Ireland Miami GM, should be replaced as well.  I sure do not want the man who said (Paraphrase)...Chad Henne and Matt Ryan are the same QB.  He also drafted...Pat White.  Ireland was Hand Picked by Parcells to be Miami's GM!  Another failure of...The Tuna.  It was so bad, even...Sage Acquired from...Ireland, could not make the smell any more sweet.

Kernel, youre absolutely right, thats a big reason why CC Sabathia had no interest playing for the Giants or A's, he knew if he was back in town all the time so many people would come to him looking for handouts. Plus, its the Yankees, who wouldnt sign with them?!

Have you seen that collage of "Aaron Rodgers Photobombs"?  It's pretty funny.  They're a bunch of pics of players from the GB sidelines and somehow Rodgers always ends up in the background.

Also, he must be single, right?  Because that's something single guys do--"Fun with facial hair" as I call it.  My doctor from a few years back--every time I saw him, he had a new facial hair style.

How did you NOT know that?  When I was a sophomore in HS, a Senior at my school was being sought after by many colleges for football.  Since I played football with him, I was around when he told us stories, and showed us pictures.  He said that many bigger schools, basically have a group of, um, co-eds, that made sure the potential recruits have a "good time".  Besides sex, he also said he came away with a couple grand.  He was at a dinner/party with the coaching staff and many many rich people that give money to the school.  He said every handshake he had with them, had a hundred dollar bill in it.

Skip actually did a debate with Ochocinco and talked smack right to his face, so I don't think he's hiding from anybody.  Or maybe he felt safe to do it because they were on a TV set.  I don't take him seriously, but he's dead right about LeBrick.

I don't think, even with Manning healthy, the Colts would have been any good this year.  But still, having Manning would have made them an 8-8 team.  Speaks a lot for the talent and leadership Payton has.
