Now with 100% more January Jones' cleavage.

Looks alright but had they actually gone with Cyclops, Jean, & Iceman instead of Havok, Mystique, whoever (damn you, Singer canon!) this flick would've be infinitely more appealing.

I love LOVE that music at the beginning, but I have no idea what it's from.

I really dig the look and feel of the movie so far. I like the incorporated Havok's circle-within a-circle-within a-circle-etc etc look. Banshee looks cool. Beast looks better than he did in X3. Though I think Mystique's natural look weirder this time.....like her head is too big.

I just think this movie has an overall cool look and feel to it, and I'm almost looking forward more to this than the other "Big 3".....which is weird, cause I keep kinda forgetting this is coming out.

The music is by a band/collective/musician/I'm not sure called Kopius Few, and as far as I know, they exist only to make music to be used in trailers, TV shows and the like (they've contributed some tracks to Burn Notice as well).

I believe this one's called "Half A Man," but I could be wrong.

I think you can get more info from this place.

I like the new bits I'm seeing here. Especially of JJ. ;)

Glad they're focusing a little more on the students (and the alt history aspects) in this trailer as well, where as X and Magneto have gotten most of the focus prior.

Not blown away yet but it this movie seems better with every new thing coming out.

Digging Banshee's classic look.

Does anyone recall ANY sort of acknowledgement between Professor X and Mystique in the earlier movies? It's pretty weird that they shoehorned into Xavier's first class.

I don't think Xavier and Mystique ever meet in the first three films, do they?

Given the four decades that pass between the Cuban Missile Crisis and the first X-Men film, I'm not sure that strict continuity is a reasonable expectation.

As for Emma, I recall reading that the actress playing her in X3 had no idea who the character was, and referred to her as "Diamond Girl," so we can pretend she's just a different girl with diamond hardness as her principal, rather than secondary, mutation (Grant Morrison may be a genius, but sometimes...)

This is the first time the trailer has actually gotten me excited to see this.

Professor X looks too much like Cillian Murphy.

Ironside? Alright, dammit, I'm in.

Honestly, pretty much every trailer has looked really good, it's just that they haven't shown that much of the movie. This one definitely still looks good but now we're getting a sense of the scale of the action sequences at least. And Vaughn looks like he's nailed everything. Very excited.

I hope he loses a limb. The best Ironside Sci-fi flicks are the ones he loses a limb.

I think you mean in Wolverine? Also, I remember she had a small character ad where she addressed the audience as Emma Frost. So HAH!

The re-appearance of White Queen has to be the biggest divergence from continuity, though I imagine there's some sort of company mandate to imply that Wolverine never happened.

I thought it was a UN mandate...

It sucks that there seems to be so little excitement for an X-Men movie directed by Matthew Vaughn.

I suppose I do-- maybe I was trying to forget that I'd seen it.

Anyway, I have the sense that what Singer and Vaughn have in mind is something like Abrams' Star Trek: they've begun, in effect, an alternate timeline, and if the franchise continues they can take it pretty much anywhere they want to go, while picking and choosing elements of the original film series that work for them, and any divergences easily ignored.
