Is there any place where I can download the trailer? I mean REALLY download it, like save it on my hard disc? I'm kinda dissapointed that New Line doesn't offer this option for TCM like they did for the LOTR films ...

Damn...3 days to get a membership approved. Oh well.

Anyways, here is what you need to do. This is going to get a wee bit complicated so stick with me here. First thing, you need Quicktime Pro. You can either pay for it or *ahem* "borrow" it (download it and then search out a key gen...am I allowed to say that?). Anyways, once you have Quicktime Pro, go here and select the Quicktime version. Once it is downloaded fully, click on the downward arrow at the lower right side of the viewer. There will be a "save as source" option...click on that and you will have your trailer saved to your hard drive. There may be an easier way to do it, but that's the only way I know if they don't actually have a download option.

One of the easist ways to save a movie trailer (if there is no option to save it onsite) is to first watch it from whatever site is hosting it. When done, go into your "Temporary Internet Files" folder found in C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files, and extract the trailer (.mov, .avi or whatever file it is) from there. I've done this many times and it works.

By the way, this works on win98. I have no idea if it can be done on XP 'cause I don't use that O/S.

Of course to do that you need to actually have the trailer fully downloaded into your browser, which is a problem for some people using IE. I havne't been able to download a high quality trailer in my browser without it freezing my computer in ages. Of course, apple and quicktime will not answer any questions regarding this little flaw.
dah well.
