I was dissapointed with the direction of this movie it based the movie on the heist and the rocks role, the movie used to be about the love of cars and the love of racing them this movie used the characters fame to push a weak plot that rarely involved the idea of the first 2 movies which was the love of the cars and racing thier needed to be less dodge police cars and more classic muscle cars and tuners not showing the race scenes to acquire the cars took away from this movie.

I do but a movie that was based around racing is not suposed to be played out like that, the movies were always about the cars till this one.

That first post is one sentence.

This is kind of a useless thread, but it always bugged me when people would give their opinion on a movie and say it was a "flop" or a "bomb." Like, you'd ask someone what they thought of the second Transformers, and they'd say, it was a flop, and I'd be like, you're in no position to judge that, it was very successful, it was just a piece of shit. And then you'd be like, we're grown adults, why are we discussing Transformers movies?

were not talking transformers here were are talking 69c amaros and 71 mustang  mach ones souped up to beat you nissian skylines and 350zs and rx 8s not a single one of you is a true car nut if you dont agree the movie should have had a little more directive toward cars hell how in the first movie you gonna explain the 69 charger and the build up on the nissan when they make the movie why didnt they put it in is all im saying the race with the 69 charger against the porche would have been key

It's a new beginning for the series. Cars will be less prevalent from now on, but there will still be more car action than your average flick. Shit changes, it would have been stale if they did the same thing every film.

And no need to tell people to piss off. Most of us have touched cars. Some of us a little too much, even.

You probably never touched a car IN YOUR LIFE

The crimes against grammar, punctuation, spelling and capitalisation in some of the posts in this thread are greatly troubling to me.

Try again i have built award winning 55 and 57 Chevy's i have owned a 69 camaro a 78 camaro i currently am building a pro-street 57 Chevy 2 door wagon. I also own an 84 Chevy pickup that was built from the ground up. I am just saying i didn't like the direction the series went was it a good movie? Yes. Was it a movie worthy of the fast and furious title? No, Just my opinion. That's what these forums are for. Are they not?

Technically, that would be what this forum is for.

Also, to answer the thread's initial question? No.

Closing this thread because there is already a Fast Five post release thread.
