Hello - Page 2

I'm here everyday. I don't post much. It's hard when your knowledge base consists mostly of chewing tobacco, farming, life insurance, and pickup trucks.

Well...we don't have punch but we've got fish fingers with mustard?  Must be a UK thing right?  Anyway, I'm here, and glad to be.  And any excuse to go shopping works for me.

Hello, I'm here, and never leaving.  You could argue I began as a borderline troll (I began life here as Verbal Kint...the original, not one of the many impostors) and hopefully blossomed into something a little more genuine.  I love that I actually write in some capacity for the site that I essentially grew up on.  I don't post as much on the actual boards like I used to but that certainly needs to change.  This place has been my home on the internet since I was 17 and even though there were gaps of time I disappeared, i've always invoked the CHUD (let's face it- the Nick-inspired) sense of humor in my daily life since those early days.  People still look at me funny, after 10 years, when I say something is "pants".  This site has the most character, and best community anywhere, even if the numbers are shrinking.  I'm tired of all these other more mainstream, monotone "copy and paste" news sites that don't have character.  I see other sites getting more hits and i'm continually baffled, but we need more people here and whether that means sharing articles on our news feed more or telling friends or co-workers by word of mouth, it needs to happen.  Social media being what it is today, if you're reading something on this site it and have a Twitter or Facebook account (i.e. EVERYONE) i'd almost call it your responsibility to at the very least Like an article that you read.   Nick and the people on this site are the good guys, despite the recent "he said, he said" negativity.  Always have been, as far as i'm concerned.

SLANG!

Cockpunch. Cockpunch McCockpunch. PANTS! PUNCHED! Diva's ass. Arrested Development. Battle Royale WUT?!? Gandolfini'd. Child Frog. Kill a Frog in the toilet. Not my target audience. Old Bruce Wayne's nose bleeds into the future. Rath's Brother. Secret Board. Star Chamber. Fetal. Creature. Nation's Punched. Hollow Man's cock tucked into yonder cheek. Omega 2 montage. WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO SAY?!?

Thread Locked.

Still here, but the boards barely load on my phone since the upgrade. I still read the site daily and submit pics to the list of dumb. I hope things get better financially and will do what I can.

Um, like hey and stuff.

Hello, hello, helloooooooooooooooo

Hello, hello, helloooooooooooooooooo

you can hear it wherever you go.

A stranger in a strange place can't be nearer...

but when you hear the hello song it's dearer...

I'm awake. Seriously, awake.

Hello, hello!

I don't know why you say goodbye. I say hello!

Still here Nick! Not going anywhere either. I've been here for 11 years (almost) and I'll continue to be here every day!

HELLO. WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY A GAME?

No, seriously, been here a while, if a bit quiet and hanging out in the background. Not going anywhere any time soon.

My only demand is more Chud Show. MORE, I SAY. I have NEEDS.

We're here...

We ain't goin' nowhere...

We're movin' right next door to you.

BODY COUNT MOTHERFUCKERRRRRRRR!

I have seen so so much here. And yet, I am as perplexed as anyone by the mass exodus. Anyway, it's a great community, we should all keep posting.

Is there anybody in there?  Just nod if you can hear me.  Is there anyone at home?

Relax.

Yeah Gday. As you've worked out by now Nick, you'll have to drag me out of here on the spare piece of carpet I've ripped up to sleep on.

Howdy

I'm not going anywhere either. I mean how else am I gonna get dirty looks at work for laughing out loud.

Presente.

Hello.

I don't post as much as I used to but that has more to do with some weird times I have been having in the past few months and absolutely nothing to do with any of the changes in the site.  CHUD is one of my daily stops for something new/interesting/funny.

Here.  Still.  Frustrated.  Howdy.  Annoyed.  Whatever.  Reading.  Clocking.  Laughed.  Snark.  Back Tomorrow.  FSU.

Boobs.

Reader, but not of the boards. Not ever. For me, the model that works well is the AV Club, where each article has a thread directly below it. Here, I'm not always sure where to start. Love CHUD, though, and have since... 99? Cripes, can it have been so long?
What up? What up?

You'd be hard pressed to find any post of mine that shits on Chud. This place and Nick have always been cool.

Been posting since 2002 (off and on again) but the people here are champs and there have been great times.

We there yet? I don't think so lets keep chugging folks.

Reporting for duty.  Been following since NATION'S PUNCHED - started occassionally posting here about a year ago.  Will attempt to do so more often.

I have been with this site for 10 years. I don't post often, but I'm always here.

I've been coming here everyday for years, but only recently joined the boards.  I'm not going anywhere.

My life has been a terrible mess lately, therefore my presence on the board has dropped. I've been wanting to start throwing some of my ideas out here on the forums for a while. Maybe it's time to actually do it before I don't have a fun and intelligent place on the internet to discuss film.

I've been reading here for a few years, I post occasionally but like a previous poster said, my areas of expertise are sort of counter to film discussion. In fact, I read the boards and the site to correct my relative lack of film knowledge, because there's almost always intelligent discussion to be had here. If I weren't a broke college student, I would gladly donate to the site because it's one of my favorite spots on the internet. I come here every day and I'll continue to do so until such point that the domain is for sale.

10 years. holy shit how much time have i spend scouring review threads and 100 page discussions.

I will be here till this place is rubble. and then i will steal the sewer lid so as to pass it down for generations to come. My ancestors will whisper 'chud' long after we are dust :D

I am here.  I need to be here more often

Come to my analysis thread! I'm in the exact same boat and what I really want to do is develop my ability to watch movies more intelligently.

Read the site for years and will continue. I'll try to post more. I'd like to say that Josh is awesome. A writing machine!

Still here, just moved house so no internet access at home and spending most of my work internet time looking for a new job. But i will return proper with a new blog and a new pointless He-Man avatar soon.

Also great to see Charlie back, although i might have to pass the matrix of Britishness back to him now :)

Read the site every day, always will. (The forums have been very tough to load though). The Miami Vice blog is probably my current favorite thing on the entire arpanet.

It's hard for me to believe these boards have been my primary internet home for going on 7 years now.

Seconded. The "Franchise Me" series is one of my favorite things on the site right now.

Charlie Brigden. Amazing.

Also glad to see Andre sticking around the boards.

Why howdy.

PS: I typed that while eating a hard boiled egg smothered in hot sauce (the egg was, not me)

 "Pointless He-man avatar"!? I won't hear it! They're brilliant.

I'm enjoying some pretty heinous personal issues at the moment, but I am here everyday. The regulars on this site are some of the warmest and most intelligent people I've ever tried keeping up with.

Also, there seems to be less bickering these days. Just dialog, s'great!

Much much love.

Hello...Nick!  Seriously...CHUD.COM, is the Greatest site on the, Net!  I...Love, all the changes, as well.  I have been a reader since about the beginning.  CHUD.COM, was one of the first sites I ever read.  The first would be...Ign.com.  New to the net...Then, I typed movies videogames, tv and Ign and CHUD, appeared at the top of the screen.  Of course while I still read Ign, it was long ago surpassed by CHUD.COM!  I joined in...2007, but was a...Webslinger, from the mid 90's!

Hello Again...Nick!  I of course post at...CHUD.COM first in the am, next at mid day, and once in the evening, til right before I turn in for the night.

Word. I don't post as much as I used to, but I still lurk plenty.

This is the only movie website I'm on every day.  Been a reader of the site since the first Hellboy was in production.  I'm a lurker/occasional poster.  Now that I'm actually on FB consistently I will start linking articles.

As alway Mike you are "The Man!".  With you on the personal issues, but we much team up for another Blog with Donnie when we are more settled.

Hello, still here. I've also got some taxing family stuff but will try to post more.  Started a new thread on documentaries in the misc forum if anyone is interested.  Thought it might start some discussion.

Holy shit, is she really Jeffrey Combs' sister?

Also, a big Minnie Pearl-style "How-dee!" to all of you. Just realized last month was 10 years since I registered. So many changes. Mostly I'm bald now.

You have also sat through all the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET movies back to back, with 3D glasses where appropriate, if I remember correctly from an old CHUD podcast.
