Holy crap, helluva group of people.  Aside from Hawkes, most excited for Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film.  Hopefully he gets a good amount of screentime with Daniel Day-Lewis.

As for Hawkes' role....well, he looks the part of Booth.

I'm seeing Bruce McGill as Sec Of War Stanton.  Much closer fit than Kevin Kline.

Damn thant some good casting, really looking forward to this one.

And Miss Rappe continues to show why Redheads are awesome.

Awesome that octogenarian Holbrook is still going strong. If I didn't know better, I'd wonder if him and Clint had a little wager going on re "limitations".

I just can't become interested in this movie. About War Horse too. Feels really weird.

Oh shit.

What sort of monster have I become?

Shun me, good people of CHUD! Shun me!

Damn, Spielberg working with Tommy Lee Jones and Day-Lewis, plus peppering his cast with great names like Tim Blake Nelson (creepy organ guy from Minority Report -- reunion!), John Hawkes, and Hal Holbrook is awesome shit. I love Spielberg, and while I'm disappointed to see him take on another Oscar-bait historical drama instead of a more original project, it'll turn out good so who cares, really. Now please, Mr. Spielberg -- fuck that dumb Robopocalypse movie and make Interstellar after this, for God's sake. Or, find a way to make your Avatar.

I'm way more interested in both War Horse and Lincoln than TINTIN.  Is this me finally becoming a cranky old man?

I used to be really into Civil War history when I was younger and I've been getting back into it lately. Mostly because I wound up taking a course to fill out my History minor concentration. I'm really hoping this is as good as it looks on paper.
