I gotta say, I can't go with you on this one Nick, but then the very existence of this ghoulish resurrection of hair metal 80's nostalgia masquerading as a 'musical' makes my guts ache so I guess I'm not this films target demographic.

  As a huge, unironic, don't give a shit what anybody else thinks, fan of Hair Metal, I have no desire to see this movie. The plot is boy meets girl, girl is in love with stuck up rock star. Take a wild guess how it ends. Now I am only speaking for myself. Everyone I know who has seen the musical had a great time.

I was looking something up on Amazon, and just for giggles I clicked over to the Broadway cast album for this thing, to see exactly what songs are in it.
