LARS VON TRIER’S MELANCHLIPIA

Has a downloadable, HD trailer for this emerged yet? I still forbid myself from watching most clips, but I've been dying to throw an HD trailer for this on my projection setup.

It appears Von Trier's miserablism is intact.

That effects reel indicates this movie is going to be gloriously (and gorgeously) bananas.

I hope Chaos the Fox makes a cameo on the golf course.

And von Trier's movies are too funny to get bogged down in the misery.

I wonder if the backbone of Melancholia sprung out of the original, abandoned "revelation" that was supposed to be at the end of ANTICHRIST, that being that the world was created by the devil. I said something to this effect in the thread for the full trailer, but with Von Trier I've yet tp shake the feeling that at the heart of his work is something prozaic and ultimately fraudulent (whoever said "white peoples problems just went galactic" in the prior thread, nailed what's kind of getting to me about what we've seen of Melancholia), yet he cuts a pretty picture, and I get pulled in despite my resistance. 

MELANCHOLIA will look beautiful. For that reason alone, I'll probably check it out. But like so much of Von Trier's work, I expect it to be a bit pompous and hollow.
