FRANCHISE ME: DEATH WISH 5: THE FACE OF DEATH

I'd have to vote for Lethal Weapon or Jaws for the next Franchise.

Can't not mention that other great Simpsons Bronson moment (not counting times when Azaria uses Bronsonvoice for random characters just for the hell of it)

5 is an easy least fave of the series, though not without its charms (Parks, Joy, the giant acid vat, the continuation of the hospital gag, watching them try to pretend like Bronson isn't 900 years old, etc). I enjoyed these articles a lot. Looking forward to whatever is next!

After he was done with his three DWs he made a film called Dirty Weekend, which was supposedly a feminist empowerment vigilante film, but actually just an extremely sleazy excuse for more scenes of bad men doing bad things then getting their comeuppance. Only this time thanks to a woman, who finds that every guy she meets is a total scumbag who either wants to use her or hurt her. Although the tone of the film is more black comedy than his earlier Bronson stuff, it's absolutely another Death Wish movie in spirit. Really creepy performance from Rufus Sewell- another one for the "great actors in an early performance as the bad guy in a Winner movie" list.
