Streep was fantastic as always. Kevin Bacon was good. David Strathan redeems himself in the end as the under achieving, weakling dad!

 

It's a well shot and well put together little thriller. The Gauntlet scene at the end was well done.

I saw this on VHS a loooong time ago.  I didn't realize till recently that John C. Reilly was in this as Bacon's cohort.

Reilly was decent for the small role he had. Unfortunately because I've seen him in a lot of comedies over the years whenever he had to yell in this movie I kind of chuckled a bit. Benjamin Bratts role was pretty useless though. I was expecting him to come back at the end and arrest the two fugitives. But nope. He was gone.
