Frankenstein's Army

Thread Starter

So, I'm doing some cursory research for an idea I had for a screenplay directly merging Nazisploitation with Frankenstein (Shockwaves and  SS Hellcamp / The Beast In Heat kind of tread that way, but are not specifically that) and I find this: http://twitchfilm.com/news/2011/05/frankensteins-army-is-shocked-to-life-second-promo-and-shooting-date-announced.php .

Needless to say, my hopes currently feel a bit dashed (even though there's nothing stopping me from still doing my own different thing with it). This is from Richard Raaphorst, and it apparently evolved from a teased and then abandoned Nazi zombie project you might remember called WORST CASE SCENARIO from back in (I believe) 2006.

This is still kind of the same situation, a trailer but no movie in production, that won't happen until September.

There's another similar project as well, though the name escapes me.  I think I found both on Twitch.

Iron Sky is likely what you're thinking of.

JJ, run with your idea. There's  no guarantee the other project will be made or even seen by anyone.

Abandoned? Well shit. I remember looking forward to that one ages ago. Did DEAD SNOW kill that one?

FRANKENSTEIN'S ARMY (which almost looks like a Hammer or Corman flick that never got made) and IRON SKY both look up my alley. Somebody get Rex Steele, Nazi-Smasher, on the phone!
