GOLDEN SUICIDES LEAVES VAN SANT AND ELLIS ENTERING THE VOID

That could be a fascinating film. The guy that killed himself was responsible for the color animation sequences in Punch-Drunk Love. Here's the original Vanity Fair article.

Oh man, I sent this as a scoop in hopes that this would be addressed. Thank god it did because I'm very excited, but I'm trying to keep my hopes at bay.

To me what's interesting about this is that it's a true story. If Noe decides to make this, I wonder if he would temper himself a little bit? I know Fargo wasn't a true story, but the title card at the beginning seemed to be a way for the Coens to keep themselves in check. I know this is WAY premature, but I'm getting this same vibe from this project(hope that made sense).

What's making me feel dread is that it might very well slip through the cracks. Noe doesn't strike me as a guy who rushes into production, and could loose interest. He announced Enter The Void as his next project almost after Irreversible was released, and look how long that took. I can't imagine Golden Suicides demanding that same kind of innovation, so we'll just have to see I guess.
