Take a look a Leatherface's sister and kid brother!

I wanted to link to their pictures but for some reason this board does not allow that. OK, go here:

Then scroll down the cast list and click on those two:

David Dorfman (I) .... Jedidiah Sawyer
Heather Kafka .... Henrietta Sawyer

Of course it's the remake I'm talking about here. I have heard lots of good things about it lately and the trailer looks great but those two worry me. I mean the photos on the imdb are just your average mug-shots without make-up and not even from the film - but a kid-brother? And in my mind if Leatherface has to have a sister she should be a fat, inbred bitch. That's not exactly how I'd describe the woman who plays her.

I know Heather, and she is an amazing actress. She said the part really pushed her. There is no doubt in my mind she can play fucked-up.

I've been talking to the film's writer, Scott, for the past couple of weeks and from the sounds of it, the "softer" side of TCM was some bullshit concocted by the Hollywood trades that reported the news.

From what I've heard this remake is far from silky pudding soft.

And I wouldn't go making judgements on folks' pictures from the IMDB. If you look close enough, you'll see both the kid and Heather in a shot looking mighty grungy...and mighty terrified. Hmmm.

Are you talking about the trailer? Didn't see them the two times I've watched it so far.

BTW: When will we get that interview with the screenwriter you mentioned some time ago. Or is New Line once again preventing it from being published online (like with the whole "Blade 3" debacle)?

Yes the little boy (from The Ring) is indeed IN the trailer to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. He's in the end portion of it when all the clips come flying during the orchestrated music -- and he's holding a lil ' terrified looking child.
