My favorite movie from Tribeca. Imagine 70's-era Dario Argento directed THX 1138.

This movie certainly oozed atmosphere. It reminded me of a trippy, THXesque Altered States, actually. Can't say I can fully recommend it because gooooooddamn it is slow, but in terms of visual and aural film-making, it's practically genius. Dammit, were we all at the same screening (possibly) and missed each other?

Comes out on Friday. Definitely my favorite science fiction picture of the last few years.

 

Have patience and a sense of adventure. Shit is trippy as hell.
