BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH SECRETLY JOINS THE HOBBIT

Such timing!  I only just finished watching Sherlock on Netflix this weekend, experiencing the delights of Cumberbatch.

I typed that last part just because I wanted to type Cumberbatch.

If you did want to see him in a bad performance, check out THIRD STAR. Yeeesh

Besides that, I agree that he's great and should get more exposure. Looking forward to him being in TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY

So far, I've seen the guy take on three iconic characters: Sherlock Holmes, Victor Frankenstein, and the Frankenstein Creature.  And he's hit it out of the park each time.  More, please.

But what of Eugene Fitzherbert? Oswald Cobblepot? Englebert Humperdink?

Cumberpatch sounds like a Hobbit name.

What the name sounds like to me is someone genetically engineered to star in a Tolkien movie.

He's also in Spielberg's upcoming War Horse.  And there's already a DJ out there using his name as a substitution for "Awesome" in his lingo.  Plus, his Mom fought Captain Kronos.

It's definitely Cumberbatch time.  

The guy needs to play Dream in the inevitable Sandman adaptation.  The fans--by which I mean me--demand it.

I hope he gets a turn in one of those new Hammer films as well. I'm sure he'd be great in that.

Benedict Cumberbatch should do a movie with 28 Weeks Later stars Mackintosh Muggleton and Imogen Poots.

So far, no one in this thread has done better making fun of Cumberbatch's name better than Cumberbatch.  Give up, guys.  He's a master.
