Yup. The rags are speculating that Jennifer Garner let him have it.

If Jen had let him have it, he'd be in worse shape. She reportedly really got into her Elektra training, playing with the sais constantly off stage. And she's a hometown girl of mine, from West Virginia. She can handle herself just fine.
