Pondo Sinatra (Matthew Causey) is a 26 year old virgin who arrives at college on the back of a turnip truck. He makes friends with the campus stud, Studly (Timothy Carhart) who tries to teach him how to woo a girl and Pondo tries with hilariously disastrous results. Finally, Studly sends Pondo to his mentor, Elbow (Jerry Jones) who teaches him that “Hound dog’s gonna eat that pussy!”. But Pondo still fucks up until he realizes that he’s accidentally created a love potion that makes him irresistible to women. But soon Pondo gets more than he’s bargained for.
This is my most beloved sex comedy of all time. Better than Bachelor Party, Porky’s, Revenge of the Nerds etc…The Party Animal is filled with soo much rampant sexism and female nudity that it could NEVER be made and released theatrically today because of pseudo-feminist soccer moms, living in their frigid and desolate suburban wasteland, who would burn theaters down that showed it. I can understand why they wouldn’t want their teenage daughters to be exposed to a movie that regards women as pieces of meat. Better that they learn about female empowerment from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and TV shows like My Super Sweet 16 I say.
And women wonder why men view them as disposable fuck toys?
Anywho, Matthew Causey earned a PhD from Stanford in 1995 and now works as a lecturer in the Drama department at Trinity College, Dublin.
