After this is released, we are all going to look back at these "interviews" and be like "WTF are you talking about, it's clearly a prequel to Alien".... I don't think the Alien creature will be the main "baddie" of the film, or the main focus, but it will be there in "pre-human DNA" form and the end of the film will lay seeds for what will become Alien.  Not an Alien film directly, but the same series.

The cast is great, the director can be great, but the creature designer is my worry.

I have no desire to see a Cloverfield type creature tearing it up in outerspace.  From what I've been hearing about Super 8, Neville Page can't  think outside his own box when designing a creature.  Hope he can suprise me.
