This is all about Heard and Fichtner. All the way. Save for the shootfuck scene Cage is as straight as it gets.

 

And you know what? Even though Fichtner started as the sentimental favorite I have to give it to Heard for this one. If only for her "Between now and then I'm gonna fuck you up" to Burke in the RV. And for picking up the dude at the bar and having him paint her toenails.

Love the movie, and I like the way Cage played it (relatively) subdued and intense. Not ashamed to say he's my favorite actor alive.

 

Totally agree Heard was a badass revelation.

Not much to add except that I was pretty sure I was going to love this film when the advance promotion for it made clear that Milton's escaping from Hell would be regarded as a minor detail on his way to the real action.
