Forza is more like it.

Hey it's that con artist. Time to over-promise and massively underdeliver.

As much as I like the Fable games, I am completely uninterested in a Fable game for Kinect....especially when it's on rails.  The CG trailer looked pretty though.

Fable the rail shooter.

Minecraft is coming to XBox "this winter" for Kinect. Cool.

Minecraft exclusively on XBOX? Did the meaning of exclusive change while I wasn't looking?

Wait. A freaking virtual Disneyland for Kinect? Why would anyone want to play that? I guess it could be fun for young kids or something. These kids doing the demo are annoying as hell though.

Edit: Okay, so this just looks like putting a Disney skin on Kinect Adventures. That makes a little more sense now.

Well, console exclusive maybe?

FIIIST BUMP!

Yay!! A crappy looking Star Wars game for Kinect!!

So kinect so far is headtracking and voice commands for "hardcore" games and on rails stuff for the rest.

Revolutionary.

Is it bad that the guy running the demo for the Star Wars game doesn't look like he's having fun. All of his movements are pretty lethargic looking.

I'll have a better chance of force lifting a tank in real life, it appears. Not that I need another reason to avoid star wars, but "Lightsaber On?"

"I learned to take care of my body from....Cookie Monster." Tim Shaefer rules.

Tim Schafer you whore!

A Doublefine Sesame Street game should be cool though.

Once Upon a Monster actually looks kind of fun....or maybe it's because this kid is much more natural than the kids during the Disneyland demo.

Ach! The douche! It is chilling!

Kudo should never be allowed out in public.

Wow, this presentation in general is terrible. I have yet o see one thin I'm interested in. Microsoft never does this right, do they?

ETA: Now I want a Ronaldo.

THIS IS AWESOME!

CG penises for everyone!

Oh my god, the lag.

Oh my god, the comedy!

Did we REALLY need a demo of Kinect Sports Season 2? Couldn't you have left it at the trailer? This is painfully scripted and dumb.

oh the Kinect stuff looks scripted as hell.  Hey, lets have a nerdy as hell guy come out and talk about a Dance game.

And to continue that thought, did we really need a demo of Dance Central 2?

Hi, Kenneth! Got some time off from 30 Rock?

None of this Kinect stuff interests me as much as that new TOMB RAIDER game, and I've never even played any previous TOMB RAIDER game for longer than a half-hour.

And we end with an underwhelming short teaser for Halo 4.

Yeah, Tomb Raider looks like it actually might scratch my survival horror itch, which is a shock. Everything else just wasn't for me.

Tomb Raider was probably to only thing that I really liked. Mass Effect 3 stuff was cool enough, but unless it works with a headset, I can do without voice commands. MW3 looked like a CoD game. Gears 3 looked like a Gears game. Kinect stuff looked like Kinect stuff. There weren't really any surprises, especially since Halo 4 was leaked beforehand (and the trailer was boring).

I'd give the Microsoft conference a C grade this year. Without Tomb Raider, it would have gotten a D.

I liked the Halo 4 teaser. Game's still more than a year and a half off, so it's not like we were going to see gameplay. It wasn't quite as epic as the big Halo 3 reveal trailer, but I still got a little goosebumpy.

It really doesn't seem like that long ago that Halo 3 was the last game in the series.

I guess to be fare, they did say that Halo 4 will mark the beginning to a new series.. ha

I'll pick up the Halo 1 remake.

Tomb Raider: Torture Porn looks great. Press X to remove impaled object from flesh.

I'm watching the Electronic Arts conference now, and the new trailer for Mass Effect 3 looks badass! March 6, 2012 is the new release date.

Oh hey, I wonder if autolog will track all those successful quicktime events. A perfectly good race ruined with whatever the hell they're trying to do outside the car. Was looking forward to an actual cross country google-maps fueled race, but that doesn't look like what I want.

I'm sure there are lots of people who actually care about FIFA. I am not one of them. Zzzzzzzz....

Did EA show BF3 yet?

Not yet. They are in the middle of showing a Sims Facebook game right now.

First rule of fifa club...don't talk about fifa club being in the last World Cup game. Where your wins helped the status of your preferred nation rise/dip in world wide rankings.

Not a sims game without some intentional accidental murder...

Wow! The trailer for Reckoning looks really colorful and kind of awesome.

Not sure what the actual game is supposed to be, but the trailer for Insomniac's new multiplatform game was fun. Next up, Battlefield!

Thank God that Battlefield is coming out in late October, rather than early November. Means I can actually play some games with you guys before Skyrim/Zelda/Resi 4/Metal Gear 2 and 3 HD/Assassin's Creed/Halo HD eat my soul.

STUPID CLUTTERED NOVEMBER.

Surely that logjam will be clear before the end of the summer. I'm betting on half of these getting delayed until December-January.

Battlefield 3 all over my tits and face please.

Damn, that live demo of Battlefield was really long...and awesome. It showed a bunch of tanks advancing on an enemy base in the desert.

I'm all kinds of excited for BF3. I just do not want to download another game service on my PC. I'm happy with Steam but I'm sure at this point it's not going to be made available on Steam.

Those ME3 trailers were killer...loved the final shot of the fiery Reapers entering Earth's atmosphere.

Finally, a reason to melee -- just gimme that blade. (Take THAT, Halo 4.)

I'm not that comfortable with Origin either. But BF owns me. The only other FPS franchise that I've played that much is Quake. I will play the shit out of this. So much multiplayer.

Aww, I was all relieved when they announced the ME3 transfer to Q1 2012, but March? That seems like an eon away.

Those are the games that I assume WON'T slip. There's a bunch, like SAINTS ROW 3, WITCHER 2 and SILENT HILL: DOWNPOUR that I'm assuming will get shunted back to 2012 but are still lingering.

Also sad face at no Alan Wake news from Microsoft.

I'll be surprised if the new Assassin's Creed doesn't blink. My November hot list has Skyrim and Saints Row 3 at the top, so I'm hoping THQ and Volition don't budge, but I have a feeling you're right.
