This is as bad casting as Leonardo DiCaprio for Travis McGee. Sorry Lee Child, I don't buy it.  Reacher's size is integral to the character. Dwayne Johnson is perfect for this roll. Also, can't see Cruise doing the quiet Reacher.

Hmmm... an actor who's really tall and can convey intelligence with a few words and a look? I'm leaning toward Idris Elba, actually. Who wouldn't go for a few movies of him busting assorted heads?
