Watched this with the girlfriend, as it was a child favorite of hers. Fun little film, apparently the last time Chuck Jones worked with Warner Brothers.
It feels like it's trying to be Lady and the Tramp too hard, and none of the songs really stand out, but it's got character. The art style is fantastic, evocative of the paintings (especially Impressionism) of the 1890s.
It's nice to see someone was trying to compete with the House of Mouse during a time when they were dominating.
