This is definitely similar to when a long forgotten one-hit-wonder song from the 80s pops up on the radio.  You say to yourself, "Self, I totally forgot this had even existed!".  Aside from Hamilton's boobs, a not-so-hot Lalo Schifrin score and the car, not much has stuck with me.  Even at the age of 16 I somehow knew the film was meant as a formulaic cocktail of trendy elements with a basic and serviceable plot laid on it like lettuce on a BLT.

 

The one thing your article has done, though, is remind me how sad it is that Richard Jaeckel is gone.
