"Biohazardous" and "Flesh Freaks"

Has anyone seen either of these no-budgeters and if so, are they worth getting? Was just browsing the shelves at Tower Records and was reminded of their existence.

Biohazardous is one that I saw the website for like a year back, and it was pretty clearly a Romero/Resident Evil homage.

Flesh Freaks looks like bargain basement Fulci (so if you can imagine a bargain basement within a bargain basement...)

I haven't seen "Flesh Freaks" so I can't comment, but have seen "Biohazardous".

It's a pretty fun little pastiche of Resident Evil and Romero's Dead Trilogy. The make-up effects are decent and some scenes actually aproach creepiness. If you can set aside the budget limitations (I think it was shot for a buck fifty. They recycle the same zombies), SOV look and cheesy acting you should have a good time. The only major complaint I had was that it feels a little padded and could easily stand to loose about ten minutes. I had a good time with it and a six pack.

But what do I know? I love "Hell of the Living Dead"

Is Biohazardous one of these "we don't have quality so we will use buckets of gore instead" type affairs so typical of the low budget movie scene? The fact that it is a Resident Evil homage got me interested...how gory is it?
It's not an over the top gorefest like Necro Files or something like that. There is some gore but there was nothing extreme. No severed penises or intestine vomiting. Just some Zombie munching, brains being splattered. The typical.

They tried their hardest to make a real quality production, but it was just out of their reach. Between the budget and the limited resources I think they made a very fine effort.
