Officially renewed for season two, BTW.

Fuck yeah!

I like when things that I just discovered I like are also successful. It saves me the unnecessary concern period..

Hells yes! This is one of the funniest shows on tv by far!

Wow.  That episode "Pride" fucking floored me.  Great stuff throughout it.

The pairing of this and Louie makes for a perfect Thursday night.   "Pride" was awesome.

Mary Steenburgen, yay! I always like seeing her.

Jesus... the end of the dog episode.  I haven't had to pretend I wasn't getting choked up in such a long time...

Also- did the Steenburgen episode air already?  I could swear it caught it mid-run.

Stupid double post.

Yeah, Mary Steenburgen was on this past week.  The last scene with her was expected (by me), but still awesome.

She has not aged a bit..or that was just a lot of make up.

Really?  I found it funny, but not touching.  They were playing the music from Ghost lightly in the background for Pete's sake!

What the FUCK was that Stoltz-filled dream sequence all about?! That was trippy.

It was awesome...that's what it was.

Between This, Archer, Louie and Sunny FX might have the best comedy lineup in all of TV.

Thursday's episode helped cement my favorite element of this show: the "dog-isms".  This episode was no exception.  The sleeping on the couch and "I'll be here when you get back."  The cake while Ryan was out.  The walk through the woods "I've never smelled that before, etc."  It's a very witty element and I love it.

You take your dick out of Bear's mouth for one second and nag nag nag nag.

Greatly enjoyed the season finale--Elijah Wood finally got to play a role other than the depressed straight man, thought he handled it well.  One gripe--DVR cut off the final scene.  Saw Ryan run home and open the cellar door--can anyone spoil what happened next?

The cellar door ...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

... actually just leads to a small closet. Ryan doesn't even have a cellar!

DUN dun DAAAAAAAAH.

Loved the finale. Pretty much loved this whole season. In fact, though I'm sure many consider it heresy, I actually slightly prefer Wilfred to Louie (although both are quite great).

Oddly I thought they telegraphed the closet.  We'd never actually seen the door before, but this episode when Ryan decided to go downstairs and they showed the door I went "That looks exactly like a hall closet".

I like this show as a diversion, but it's one that I keep watching and I'm not 100% sure why.  I definitely don't enjoy it as much as some people in the thread.

A few weeks back, during the B&W "trial" hallucination, they actually showed Ryan's sister, bloated with pregnancy, sitting in the peanut gallery with Jenna and the rest. The minute he asked her for clean piss in the finale, I knew what was coming next.
