The entire second half of this season sucked horribly. It's hard to root for Michael when he's acting borderline brain dead every episode. That and both he and Fiona had some of the worst "emotional" acting I've ever seen this last episode.
It's one thing to think that Michael would accidentally burn Jesse while trying to unravel who had burned him. I was even able to go along with not telling Jesse and trying to help him out of guilt. It's another thing to think Michael is capable of purposely burning 4 spies with the idea of trying to fix it later. It's stupid.
I mean, when Anson gave Michael the thumb drive with the virus on it to delete Anson's existence in all databases then Michael already had the means to end this whole thing. Put Fiona on a plane to Ireland, get a hacker to change the thumb drive to delete everything on Fiona, kill Anson. Wait to see what information comes out on Fiona, use your CIA contacts to clear things up, bring Fiona home.
I mean, maybe it's just me but it sure sounds a lot better than what we got.
