So the anual Toronto Film Fest is set to begin Thursday, September 4.. They will be having Midnight Madness screenings of some cool flicks.. Here's what they're showing..

Cypher: Vincenzo Natali
End of the Century: The Story of The Ramones: Jim Fields, Michael Gramaglia
Gozu :Takashi Miike
The Grudge: Takashi Shimizu
Haute Tension: Alexandre Aja
Ong-Bak Muay Thai Warrior: Prachya Pinkaew
Save the Green Planet: Jang Jun-hwan
Undead: Peter Spierig, Michael Spierig
Underworld: Len Wiseman

While not all of are horror. Most seem to be, it just so happens I've been dying to see em. So perhaps I'll see some creature fiends at midnight?

I've heard Ong Bak is a fucking kick-ass martial arts flick.

And you HAVE to see Undead.

The trailer for The Grudge is one of the few times that I´ve been really scared by just a trailer. Those eyes... those eyes. Please let that movie reach Sweden soon!

I was gonna say get the tv series Juon on dvd....looks like the movie is shot for shot the same

but you're in Sweden and regions and all

I highly recommend the tv show DVD....scary as all hell

well.....the second one was kinda ho-hum

gotta give it a second viewing

The 2 direct-to-video JU-ONs and the first theatrical film are available on ebay with English subtitles. I think they are even Region Free. And some of them are even official versions and not bootlegs ...

I'd still prefer to watch it on the big screen, though.

Wow those are some damn good films to be showing.

I'm waiting for the HK Ong Bak with subs to come out here soon.

That and Gozu and soon to pick up Save the Green Planet.

Undead and Ju-on are high priorities on my list for sure. I also really wanna see Save The Green Planet.. Damnit who am I kidding I want to see em all

The trailer for Ju-on gave me the rolling creeps the night after I watched it.. Ahhh those creepy Japanese..

Yes, Ju-On and the Ju-On 2 trailer certainly did give me the creeps. Especially the second and the noise it makes in the beginning that I later on in the trailer figured out is the sounds a person can make from the back of the throat.

Nasty..

Ohh sweet baby jesus. Sounds at the back of throat ya say? Well that is just unnerving.. I simply must see this film at ALL costs.. I would bet a hefty wager that I won't be sleeping the night I see it...

If the trailer could do to me what it did I can only imagine what the whole flipping movie would do...
