I'm actually not sure which title I prefer... I mean, I know a lot of people more worried about the threat of clowns than of clones.

 

Anyway, this sounds like a revival (ripoff?) of the "Gemini Man" script that's evidently been kicking around for a few years, looking for the right aging action star to be pursued by a digitally de-aged version of himself.

Goddammit. I caught it in the article but not in the excerpt. I just want a clown revolt movie so bad, it slips out subconsciously.

This reminds me of the fella in my thesis film class (who was a bit... odd) who wanted desperately to make his thesis a short film based on a CLOWN ZERO script he had written, which was essentially a zombie movie with clowns, and pies in the face standing in for biting. It never materialized, despite my secret finger crossing.
