Robert Smigels voice is so funny, just hearing him talk makes me laugh.

Agreed. The louder he yelled the more he sounded like Triumph. I loved it.

Am I the only one who has the desire to coach little league just to institute the team cheer of "Fuck these people!"?

And another stellar showing by Leon. Classic Curb.

Yeeahh, I'm gonna need to have a gif of Susie and Larry in the car. Hilarious.

Holy shit, that was on of the funniest 30 minutes of TV. I was laughing straight through. All the story lines complemented each other so well, and culminated perfectly in the final scene. So, so funny!

That's a remarkably idiotic thing that you just said but you know, the fact that you're wearing glasses, I perceive it as a little less idiotic than I normally would.

I get a f*ckin' tingle in my johnson when a motha f*cka tell me he's about to get some ass.

You go Buckner yourself!

Buckner looks like he hasn't aged since the 86' World Series.

I thought Larry's girlfriend in this ep. was going to be the little girl he was playing strip poker with in the flashback scene. Its too bad they didn't  address that after Larry told his Dr.

So sad this season is coming to an end. I've been debating if Larry and Co. are funnier in LA or NYC, and I honestly can really decide. Somehow Larry seems more comfortable in LA, but he's just as funny in NY.

Agreed. I watched it with my roommate, who's probably seen like 3 episodes of the entire Curb run, and we were both in stitches. I think his enjoyment amplified mine.

"Michael J. Fox gonna be MICHAEL J. FUCKED-UP in a minute."

Give Leon his own Paris-spinoff.

"He's pre-gay."

Swastika sham did me in good.

His girlfriend's gay son... holy shit. "Get a life, Jews!". The scream when he opened the gift...

Leon is my man and all, but that kid needs his own show.

I'll say it again:

"Leon Fucks Up Paris."

...You're welcome, HBO. This needs to happen.

That's one where I should've seen it coming, but the reveal was SO well timed that it caught me off guard.  But then, even the Parkinson's soda caught me off guard and I should've seen that one coming the moment Fox said 'soda.'

The pre-gay kid is one of the strangest and most hilarious performances I've ever seen.  And he kinda reminds me of Emma Stone... ... ... ...

"They call'em bullets!"

(smiiiiiirk)

I just watched the replay. Seeing Leon again in that beret and eating a "chalupa inside a burrito wrapped the fuck up", I'll sign whatever petition you're circulating to make this happen.

Fantastic end to a fantastic season.

I'm down for a Leon spinoff. But would he work as well without Larry? I dunno.

Without Larry, the character seems more suited to something like the webisodes of other sitcoms that I never watch.  But I could be underestimating an ALL-LEON show.

I don't think I've laughed so hard and so raw at something in a long time. The whole soda exchange gave me hiccups.

Also, this:

Quote:

"If I saw one of your movies, and I was talking you probably wouldn't like it"

‎"I'd be surprised. Where are you gonna see one of my movies, n-n-nineteen eighty five?"

"Okay, if I saw one of your movies in 1985, you wouldn't like it if I was talking"

‎"This is getting into time travel. Its getting weird"

Just caught up on the last couple of episodes. Such a shame it's over because the show was absolutely on fire, the addition of Leon just brought it to another level.

I don't know if I could sit through an all-Leon show, but this exchange destroyed me:

Quote:
Larry: All right, I'm gonna go up there. Unless you want to?
Leon: If I go up there I will kill this motherfucker. Michael J. Fox about to be Michael J. Fucked Up in a minute but you go up there, you and him, that's a fair fight and shit, you know what I'm saying?
Larry: How's that a fair fight?
Leon: Shaky motherfuckers like that, you know, little kids and shit, old people, motherfuckers who can't defend themselves and you. That's perfect. You two face off, that shit is even steven.
Larry: That's not even steven!
Leon: That's even fucking steven, Larry.
Larry: You don't think I can get the better of him in a fight?!
Leon: That shaky shit might come in handy, I don't fucking know. You don't know this motherfucker's skills.

Disappointed that Funkhouser never made it to New York City.

I was thinking to myself that this season might be my favorite, but it's a toss-up between this one and the restaurant season. The dog whistle episode and the e-i-e-i-o finale are still two of the funniest things I've ever seen on television.

That line got me so bad I had to pause so my laughing wouldn't make me miss all the dialogue.

The finale was on fire. Between the kid, Fox, and Leon I was dying. Loved that Bloomberg banned Larry from NY ("But I'm a New yorker!"). And as a fan of the Pig Parker ep, ending with Larry telling off some French dude about his crappy parking job was a nice callback. Fantastic season.

I'm convinced that kid is a Mini-Me version of Nathan Lane.

20 bucks says a role on Glee is being written for this kid as we speak.

Finally caught the season finale and it was as funny as any previous ep.

I love Leon as much as anyone but I don't think he'd work on his own without Larry; and for some reason I still find it a little strange that his character is still around. No way am I complaining that he's still around but it seems to me that Larry kept him around because he knew fans of the show loved him so much. After all, Leon and his family were displaced after Hurrincane Katrina, if the rest of his family returned to the Gulf Coast why wouldn't Leon.

As for Curb itself, no telling with Larry  if the show will return or not. The ending certainly leaves open the possibility of  a new season but if Curb ever returns, it won't be for quite a while.

Wrong. Leon was already living in L.A. when the Blacks arrived from New Orleans. He was not displaced by Katrina.

Yup. And they've been quite transparent about keeping Leon around because people love him, but the character's enough of a leech that it still makes sense when he just ups and follows Larry to New York.

Larry & Leon is the 21st century equivalent of Jack Benny & Rochester.

I love Leon too, but I don't think he can carry his own show. He needs a straight man to bounce off of, and Larry is great at that.

I loved that finale, and really liked Michael J. in there mixing it up. I was always a fan of his and he shows that he still has the comedy chops. Everything between him and Larry was gold.
