You know, this is a truly beautiful movie.  Really.  With fantastic imagery and production values.  If Tree Of Life hadn't come out, I'd say Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark has the best cinematography of the year.

 

And you'd never know it from this poster.  It looks like some demo artwork in an advertising trade magazine.  At best, an uninformed moviegoer would know that it's for a horror movie.  And he or she might not even connect it to those great trailers.  This is a murky mess.  "Come play with us..." is the only good thing about it, selling the scary whispers.

 

Please tell me this isn't the final poster.  I really want this movie to be a hit.

When I see DBAOTD, I think Database Administrator Of The Dead.

 

A mediocre poster will not prevent me from seeing this movie!

Actually, I kind of like it. The art for this flick has been pretty inventive leading up.

That poster is too busy for my liking. What was wrong with that cool pic of the girl on the stairs and the Nosferatuhands reaching for her?

If you're talking about the all text one, yeah, not good. All the others I've seen are ACES though. Dying to see it.
