PETER PARKER DIDN'T TAKE THESE SPIDEY PHOTOS

The picture with Gwen holding a battle-damaged Peter Parker seems like a nice (if confused) nod to similar scenes in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.  I still enjoy going back and reading the early volumes of that series from time to time. 

This movie seems like it wants to marry the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon with the Ultimate comics.  I think the cartoon was already pulling a lot of inspiration from those comics, though, so...  Well, let's hope Bendis is getting some writing credits in there somewhere.

I just recently saw The Social Network, the first and only thing I've seen Andrew Garfield in.  I have mixed feelings toward this whole enterprise, but the spider-lovin' part of me hopes that this movie knocks it out of the park.

Is it strange that the only thing that really caught my eye in all these photos is the tiny Voldemort on the upper left corner of the cover going "NYAAAAOOOOOW!"?

The suit looks like a basketball.  I kinda like it.

Love the Ditko-ish mask. Waaay to much blue in the torso. Hate the silver slippers.

Aunt May is young. Emma STone should be MJ, etc etc. The rest looks like "wait and see".
