I got the universal classic monsters collection and the 3disc hammer box set but now I want more classic horror what's the next logical step?

Vincent Price/Roger Corman do Edgar Allen Poe. Start with Fall Of The House Of Usher and work your way through to Masque Of The Red Death. No boxset, sadly. In fact, are these even available on DVD?

Just checked, yes they are out on DVD - and quite cheap as well. Snap 'em up.

Gotta get the H.G. Lewis Blood Trilogy set:

Blood Feast
2000 Maniacs
Color Me Blood Red

Dare you to not call them classics.

What about the Lucio Fulci collections 1-3?

Fall Of The House Of Usher has a nifty commentary by Roger Corman on it, as does X- The Man With The X-Ray Eyes, which you should also procure.

well I havn't had time to go into town to a big decent dvd store but I did manage to buy the orginal house on haunted hill and God's and monsters from the local blockbuster
