Harrison can't get enough of the saddle.

Sounds interesting.  Does anyone know what happened with the other post-C&A project he was looking at......................The Dying of the Light?  I know it was an action thriller and they were looking for a director (after Nic Refn vacated the chair), but then I never read anything else about it.  As far as I know, that is the only other thing Ford had lined up....................outside of Indy 5.

I think after Refn left the whole project fell apart, I would have rather this been his next film. While Black Hats sounds like a cool concept, I'm not a super big fan of revisionist history, and if your going to fuck around with Wyatt Earp, you better do it right, i don't want this to end up being a buddy gangsta flick, with with Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday's son spouting one-liners as they dispatch capone's crew.

I guess i need to take a look at the source material before i make any assumptions.....

That sounds really nice. I'd love to see Ford reinvigorated and making movies with a bit more appeal, no matter how good they turn out to be.

Didn't Max Allan Collins write the graphic novel (and later series of novels) that Road To Perdition is based on?

That premise actually sounds kinda great to me to be honest and I'd love to see Harrison get the passion back again - hell just a bit. The guy only needs to give 75% and that's still better than most actors 100%. Problem is we've been lucky to be getting about 25% out of him these days.

eta: Oh and yes yes its crushingly obvious, but Mark Strong would act the fuck outta Capone.
