US TOP GEAR Season 2

I find Rutledge to be deeply annoying, but Tanner's messing with him makes up for it, and I think Ferrara has been much better than I expected. The overall chemistry continues to improve with each episode.

I think the show can only get better over time as the guys develop a more authentic rapport. It's already grown quite a bit from last season and Tanner being a total troll was just golden. It's funny because when the British TG presenters came to America they were completely out of their element and yet so were our American hosts down in Texas. I loved seeing Ferrara try to rough it around the campfire.

I actually can't wait for this week's episode with the Pawn Star guys. Here's to hoping Chumlee fucks up a corner and they name it after him like Gambon over in the UK. "...and here we go into the Chumlee!"

I just about died when Rutledge was explaining the concept of Thomas the Tank Engine to Tanner. Just great stuff.

I'll jump in here and agree that this season has been a massive improvement over the first.  Chemistry between the hosts seems less forced, and Rutledge has gone from someone I can't stand to mildly amusing.  Also glad that they dropped that stupid "On this show, you won't see cooking; on this show, you won't see [etc..]" that they led off the first run of episodes with.  I only wish they'd improve the star power of the guests they have on the show (though BBC top gear has had some strange ones too I suppose).  I'm actually looking forward to watching tonight's episode when in the morning for once.  Also - Tanner doing a burnout while circling around Rutledge and Ferrara while screaming "AMERICA!!!" cracked me up.
