Well Fright Fans this is a misunderstood classic in every sense of the word.
I don't know where to begin! I really don't!
First we have our wonderful 3-D characters, it's about damn time a horror movie managed to write characters that practicly leaped off the screen. Each character seems to have a presence, we can all identify with each one of them. Our lead is the lovable little scamp Joshua! When Joshua and his family go on a trip to the town of Nilbog this little tyke gets into ALL sorts of trouble! Then there is Holly, the other sister who is having problems, seems her boyfriend would rather sleep with his male friends them him, poor Holly, I felt so bad for her. Then there is mom and dad, I don't think I did catch a first name but we love them none the less. Anyway, the terror starts when our heros have the brilliant idea to swap houses with another family for the summer (Can you really do that?) They go to Nilbog and get into alot of trouble with the local Goblins! OH NO! This movie is so scary, it has a great twist (it involves the towns name) also a really smart idea on how to defeat the Goblins. The acting in this movie is fantastic, WHERE ARE THEY NOW??? Each actor is so believable, also the FX are great, I think they might of used REAL Goblins!!!! The happiest day of my life was when I got this on DVD!!!
