First a quick update. It looks like our first D3ADTIME short will actually be entered in an online contest to compete for a spot along side 25 established horror Directors (such as Ti West) in a short horror anthology DVD (all of them making up 1 feature length film.) So as soon as we have that up I'll post the link and hope everyone will go have a watch and if you like it.... vote. The top 10 with the most votes go before the 25 filmmakers and they will select a winner. I'll keep you posted.
Meanwhile this week I wanted to throw something a touch different your way. This is (by the filmmaker) considered a Horror, but probably more along the lines of David Lynchs work. I personally like this kind of cerebral little films. The kind that have horror undertones but perhaps never show a "monster in the closet" if you will. It is very much left to viewer interpretation. If nothing else this is beautifully shot and acted, the handiwork of an Australian filmmaker named Ben Briand. Here is "Some Static Started"
Also, this little promo was made for a short film fest. The idea, take a popular viral video and make a narrative version. This is a spoof of "Charlie Bit Me" and features some cool "Zombie Vision" Let me know what you think.
