Gothic horror thriller looks deliciously creepy.

This'll be hard put to it to outdo the excellent 80s television adaptation.

On the upside, it might finally secure a DVD release for the thing.

Can't wait for this one, looks great. I liked the British TV version but I think there's plenty of room for a big screen version . Plus, I've heard they've changed the story a little, so it won't be exactly the same.

Is there a chance Daniel Radcliffe can escape being typecast as Harry Potter the rest of his life? Hopefully he can pull a Harrison Ford. What I like most about this preview is he looks like a man, and that's a good step.

I'm excited. It was creepy and gave me chills, and looks like a more naturalistic Sleepy Hollow. Like, much of the horror is evoked from real landscapes rather than foggy soundstages.

I guess it looks okay.

The 1980s adaption was pretty damn special- small and subtle and extremely unsettling, not the typical Hollywood style ghost story. This new one seems to have weird dolls and creepy nursery rhymes and a bunch of computer effects. Seems a bit... obvious? Not writing it off just yet, just saying I hope it doesn't turn out to be a posher Insidious.

Neat bit of trivia: Have no interest in/have not watched any Harry Potter movies, so I only found out about this today, but the Daniel Radcliffe character was originally played by Adrian Rawlins... who apparently is also Harry Potter's dad.

As an Insidious fan, that's kind of exactly what I'm hoping for. This looks fun to me, and I'm rooting for Radcliffe, for some reason. Even knowing that he's going to be so incredibly Harry Potter-ish in this.
